About Nicole

Nicole Lilly has a meandering spirit that is fueled by her quest as an eternal student of life. Having practiced yoga for over a decade, she honors the natural ebb and flow of the practice, while remaining dedicated to personal growth through challenge. She aims to help students cultivate an inner awareness of the body, mind, breath and emotion in order to develop the essential spirit of their practice on an individual level.

As a “yoga guide” Nicole enjoys incorporating a full spectrum of yoga and healing techniques into her classes. Pranayama, meditation, philosophy and energetics play a role alongside a diverse range of asana inspired by Hatha, Vinyasa, Forrest, Kundalini and Yin teachings.

Nicole has the following certifications that make her a competent and trusted teacher.

Forging a wider path on her physical and spiritual journey, Nicole completed a Yoga and Energetics Teacher Training (exceeding the 200-hr standard) with Cat Kabira during a two month stay in Bali, Indonesia which included studies in Cranio Sacral Therapy Level 1.  She has also successfully completed a 60-hr Thai Yoga Massage course at Sunshine Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Nicole continually seeks out opportunities to expand her studies in Yoga and Healing methods. It is her highest purpose to bring the best of her training to students in a way that is authentic to her individual style and that meets the students where they are on their path.  Her studies and travels are central to her own inspiration and worldview which she uses to fuel personal transformation.

In Fall 2013, Nicole will begin a Masters program in Somatic Counseling Psychology at the prestigious Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. This 3-year program will build upon her existing experience of mind-body work and lay the foundation for Nicole to become a practicing LPC with a specialization in working somatically in a therapeutic environment.
